MY AUSTRALIAN NAP RUNS IN RACE 4 AT DOOMBEN ON WEDNESDAY!

Race 4 Doomben 4.44 Buying Time (best price 1/1)

Promising type who made a bright start winning on debut at Sunshine Coast a year ago and backed that up winning over the same track and trip next time; third on final start; sure to have improved so big chance on return.

Lots to like about the returning BUYING TIME at Doomben on Wednesday. He went 2 from 3 last year and is open to plenty of improvement. His form stacks up and it is no surprise to see him a warm order for this. With more to come he is fully expected to justify favouritism. Single Memo has 2 wins and 3 placed efforts from just 8 starts so she is the danger. She ran well when second last month and if stripping fitter should run a nice race. Luskin Hero is more exposed than the front pair but has still won twice over C&D so has to be respected if bringing his best form to the table. Office Jim has also had a few chances but can often go well so likely won’t be all that far away either.

Race 7 Warwick Farm 6.50 Think About It (best price 6/4)

Improving sort who impressed winning on debut last year at Kembla Grange; backed that up to follow up at Wyong next time out; only third here on final start but scope to progress further and this looks a good opportunity.

Hard to look past THINK ABOUT IT at Warwick Farm on Wednesday. He went 2 from 3 last year and looks to have found a good race to resume here. He likes having a target to aim at and this could pan out perfectly with a fair bit of pace on. Both Recommendation and He’s A Hotshot could take each other on early and that would be a perfect scenario. Recommendation has a similar profile to the favourite but if he gets taken on early that might cost him his chance. Mission Value is unexposed and has won 2 of his last 3 so it wouldn’t be a massive surprise if he emerged as the main danger. Mabel is a little more exposed but still a decent yardstick with 4 wins to her name so she is also noted.
