THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 7 AT DOOMBEN ON SATURDAY MORNING!

Race 7 Doomben 5.57 Indispensable (10/11)

Smart type who has 7 wins from 27 starts including 10 places; back to winning ways over track and trip last time doing it impressively; hard to oppose if in the same form and looks well placed to go and follow up here.

The likeable INDISPENSABLE is 2 from 3 here and given the way he won at Doomben last time he looks to have plenty going for him. He is likely to push forward and should take plenty of catching. Regal Stage also has early speed and is probably the danger. The pair could go forward early and might always have it between them. Prospectus is 5 wins from 24 starts but did disappoint at Eagle Farm last time. If he bounces back he looks a good each way saver to hit the frame and he could run much better than his odds suggest. I Could Do Better is also entitled to be thereabouts but probably come up short in terms of win claims. Hard to see anything else really getting involved at bigger odds.

Race 4 Rosehill 4.00 All Time Legend (10/11)

Exciting sort who is 5 wins from 9 starts including 2 placed efforts; only beaten narrowly by Shared Ambition when last seen and that’s very good form; can do better and looks well placed to make a winning return here.

We head to Rosehill overnight for our second best bet Down Under and ALL TIME LEGEND can return to winning ways. This horse has looked thoroughly progressive and while he was beaten on his final two starts last campaign he wasn’t disgraced and they were in good races so I think he’ll make a winning return here. His form stacks up and he is the most obvious winner of this for me. Trumbull is a prolific winner with a record of 7 from 22 so has to be feared. He is also back from a break but does need to bounce back. Chat is a good looking type with 4 wins from 19 starts and also shouldn’t be entirely ruled out but the fav does look to have greater potential in my book and is readily preferred.
