Promising mare who has won 2 of her last 3 now and ran on strongly from off the pace to make a winning return at Doomben at the start of the month; more in the locker yet and good chance to go in again here.

With scope to improve again RICH LISTER is a confident pick to come out on top at Sunshine Coast in the early hours of Wednesday morning. She is a mare on the upgrade judging by her reappearance win and I don’t see anything good enough here to stop her hitting the line best. She really picked up well when asked at Doomben last time and a similar performance here should be good enough for her to salute the judge again. The obvious danger looks to be fellow last time out winner Renouf. She scored over 1400m here and was well on top at the line. She is more exposed compared to the selection but still has to be feared. Hard to see anything at bigger prices springing an upset.

Race 4 Ascot 8.50 Final Authority (6/5)

Good looking sort who ran below market expectation on debut but quickly put that right winning convincingly at Albany last time; sure to improve again and looks well placed to make it two wins from three starts.

The progressive FINAL AUTHORITY should go forward from an inside draw here and will likely look to make every yard a winning one. He impressed last time from an awkward draw and is clearly improving fast now. He brings the most potential to the table here and I’ll be surprised if he is beaten. Love Drunk Baby is a decent yardstick but he will need to better that run at Ascot last time to land a blow here. He is better than that though and should keep the favourite honest in the closing stages. Simple Logic has a similar profile to the latter but again he let supporters down when nearer last than first at Ascot last month. Katona is starting to look exposed and is 0/13 at the track so opposable too.
