Race 4 Morphettville 4.47 See You In Heaven (4/5)

Progressive filly who has won 3 from 4 starts to date and ran on strongly from off the pace to win convincingly up to Group level last month; open to further improvement and with a good draw should win again.

With the likes of Maximillius and Aitch Two Oh pushing forward early SEE YOU IN HEAVEN could get a lovely toe in here and granted she can see daylight when she needs to I can’t see anything good enough to stop her going in again. She is building a nice profile now and looks progressive. Aitch Two Oh herself has won 3 from 4 as well so she shouldn’t be underestimated but she lacks the potential the favourite brings to the table. As Time Goes By is an interesting debutant but she’ll need to be well forward to spring an upset here so unless the market speaks massively in her favour I think she is best watched as she could run well without being good enough today. Miss Dunsford likely best of the rest.

Race 4 Belmont 6.53 Alsephina (6/4)

Good looking chestnut filly who made a bright start winning well on debut last month and backed that up making it 2-2 at Ascot last time; this requires another step up but inside draw helps and clearly very promising.

I’m looking forward to seeing ALSEPHINA out again at Belmont on Saturday morning. She is a filly going places and I think she can take this step up in her stride and remain unbeaten for Grant Williams and Patrick Carbery. She won with plenty in hand last time and has gears. She has a good draw and has plenty in favour again. That untapped potential can see her go a long way! Via Monte has won 2 from 10 but placed 6 times too and is a very solid yardstick. He will likely keep the favourite honest but might need more to contain her late on. Warm ‘N’ Fuzzy has won 2 of his last 3 and while he is more exposed than the front pair he shouldn’t be ruled out as very useful on his day.
