Snapped up for £175,000 following a big run in defeat in an Irish point; made a highly encouraging start when sent off favourite in a bumper at Warwick, going down just half a length; winner franked the form since; the one to beat.
It’s a bit of a wait for today’s NAP but hopefully worthwhile. TRUCKERS PASS showed bags of promise when second to subsequent winner Soaring Glory at Warwick and with improvement on the cards looks a great bet to go one better. He is clearly held in high regard given he was sent off favourite the last day and he should prove too good for these. Mille Sussurri ran well when third at Ffos Las and looks the main danger.

WE HEAD TO SOUTHWELL FOR TODAY’S NEXT BEST AS WE LOOK TO GET BACK ON TRACK!
Southwell 3.40 Grisons (7/4)
Didn’t seem to get home over 6f at Lingfield last time but could step up on that now fitted with first-time cheekpieces back to the minimum distance on fibresand debut; should get a good toe into this and the money is to be noted from this yard.
We head over to Southwell for the NB on New Year’s Day and GRISONS is expected to get back to winning ways here for sprint king Robert Cowell. He didn’t get home at Lingfield but is still handicapped to strike off this mark and back to 5f with the cheekpieces fitted he could run a big race! The money is certainly down and it will be disappointing if he doesn’t go close. Zapper Cass looks the main threat to me.
