NAP – Best selection of the day
THE NAP IS DUE A WINNER AND WE HEAD TO WOLVERHAMPTON THIS AFTERNOON!
Wolverhampton 1.00 Griggy (2/1)
Took a while to get off the mark but confidence buoyed by Chelmsford win and followed up with a bit to spare at Lingfield last time; fairly treated back handicapping and looks to have a great chance of landing the hat-trick.
Adam Kirby seems to have found the knack to GRIGGY, producing him perfectly down the outside to win again at Lingfield last time. He is difficult to oppose as he looks to land a hat-trick of wins for Sean Curran. Obviously his run style needs a bit of luck in running but if getting the gaps should be finishing better than anything. Reasoned posted a career best here last time and looks the main danger to the selection.
NB – Second best selection of the day
WE HEAD TO SOUTHWELL THIS AFTERNOON AS WE LOOK TO GET THE NB BACK FIRING!
Southwell 4.40 Merryweather (15/8)
Improving filly who made the perfect start for Mick Appleby, making most from a wide draw to win at Lingfield over a mile last month; open to further progress now handicapping and looks sure to go close.
This doesn’t look overly strong and MERRYWEATHER is taken to follow up and make it 2-2 for Mick Appleby. A mark of 76 looks fair now handicapping and I’m guessing she’ll look to get to the front from her draw. Urban Hero has a bit to prove after Wolverhampton but did win nicely at Lingfield so is respected. Itwouldberudenotto also comes into the reckoning having run well at Newcastle when last seen.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Wolverhampton and Southwell on Friday as we look to get back on track.
