Beaufort West won impressively yesterday to land the NAP back-to-back winners! We head to Southwell on Tuesday afternoon and FANCY FOOTINGS should take the beating back on his beloved fibresand. His C&D win in November looks solid and a similar performance would probably suffice here. Directory put in a career best over C&D last time, staying on well, and looks the main danger but does have a 4lb rise to contend with. Coolagh Magic has won here but is badly out of form so needs a revival to figure.

Lingfield 2.15 Easter Gold (5/4)
Shaped well in bumpers and improved to leave hurdles debut well behind when second over further here last time; should progress especially back down to two miles and looks a leading player in this field.
Destinee Royale hasn’t been seen since February last year but is open to improvement so should go well but preference is for EASTER GOLD. She has fitness on side having gone close here in November and with further improvement to come now she gets the vote. She will need to jump better but the faster pace back at two miles should suit and she is taken to come out on top. The pair should battle this one out but Sei Bella isn’t entirely ruled out having shown more in a bumper at Plumpton last time.
