Tim Easterby’s moneyspinner is now a whopping 20lb higher than when the winning spree started but is showing no signs of stopping and has a great attitude under pressure. He looks the most likely winner again and the five-timer surely beckons? Private Matter improved to win over C&D as well last time and has a big shout up 5lb. Custard The Dragon is another not to dismiss lightly.

Shaped well when fourth at Southwell before digging deep to win over C&D last time in the first-time cheekpieces; second has franked the form since winning well on Friday; 3lb rise manageable and looks sure to run a big race.
Mount Wellington is a past C&D winner and he ran well when second to Nezar, beaten a short head over 7f here last time. He is probably the solid one but I’ll be surprised if he doesn’t find one too good. That one could be ALMURR who showed a good attitude to prevail last time and he hasn’t been too harshly punished by the handicapper. As long as he is in the same form I think he’ll go close. Ken’s Sam’s is on a long losing run but ran creditably last time and could figure. Nothing much appeals at the bigger prices.
