Notebook Selection

THE NOTEBOOK IS PROFITABLE TO FOLLOW AND WE HAVE ANOTHER TWO CONFIDENT SELECTIONS FOR YOU ON SUNDAY!

Southwell 1.45 Jazz Hands (4/1)

3-time C&D winner who ran on well to win again last time; looked to have a fair bit in hand crossing the line and looks a major player in hat-trick bid off a 3lb higher mark; trainer red-hot right now.

With trainer Richard Fahey going so well JAZZ HANDS is taken to come out on top again here under Sean Davis. He is chasing a C&D hat-trick and you’d be foolish to rule out another big run. He has drifted slightly in the market this morning so makes plenty of appeal at 4/1! He won with a bit in hand the last day and looks capable of defying a small rise in better company. Directory and Silverturnstogold are the obvious dangers in a competitive race.

Notebook Selection

Punchestown 3.15 Fag An Bealach (11/4)

Likeable mare who has only had a handful of starts; well backed before finishing second at Cork last month, given a lot to do; winner looked pretty smart so could work out; should relish the step up in trip now.

The step up to two and a half miles should bring about the necessary improvement for FAG AN BEALACH to open her account over hurdles. She put in a promising run when second at Cork last time and with the promise of more to come she is taken to come out on top here. A mark of 107 should be well within reach. Minx Tiara ran well at Limerick last time and is 4lb lower here so has to be considered while My Club Colours is lightly raced and steps back up in trip so is respected.
