Notebook Selection
THE NOTEBOOK FIRED IN TWO WINNERS AT THE WEEKEND AND IS PROFITABLE TO FOLLOW!
Exeter 2.00 Fanfaron Dino (6/4)
Half-brother to Epatante and showed plenty of ability when finishing second to a nice prospect in a bumper at Flos Las before Christmas; open to plenty of improvement and should make his mark now sent hurdling in a very winnable race.
This looks a good opening for FANFARON DINO and he’s expected to make a winning debut over timber. He showed plenty of ability when second in a bumper at Flos Las last month and is bred to do well over hurdles so should excel in this discipline. Chez Castel Mail sets the standard but it’s not a strong one so I’d be disappointed if the selection couldn’t improve past him. Gustavian could be the main danger as he is a stablemate to the selection and is another who should improve now sent hurdling.
Notebook Selection
Newcastle 6.15 Fortamour (3/1)
Won impressively over C&D in September and acquitted himself well in defeat here next start behind two good horses up to a mile before finishing a creditable fourth over C&D last time; can improve again and looks a danger to all here.
I know Northernpowerhouse and Asdaa finished ahead of the selection over C&D last time but given how lightly raced FORTAMOUR is coupled with a swing in the weights I think he could turn out to be the one to beat here. He had previously won impressively over C&D and I just don’t think the race panned out for him last time, albeit not making excuses. It was a very good effort in defeat and I’m expecting further improvement. At the bigger prices Portledge is a five-time C&D winner so shouldn’t be ignored either.
Notebook Double
Here you will find our Notebook Double which is profitable to follow. Remember to back the double (and singles) to consistent stakes and you’ll always come out on top in the end. The worst thing you can do is not back them after a blank day.
