Notebook Selection
THE NOTEBOOK HAS LANDED 9 WINNERS IN THE LAST 13 DAYS AND IS IN GOOD FORM!
Lingfield 2.45 Nigel Nott (13/8)
Flashy chestnut who created a big impression getting off the mark at just the second attempt over 5f at Chelmsford last time, hitting the line with plenty to spare; improving fast and with that form franked since should be hard to beat here.
Dylan Hogan keeps the ride after steering NIGEL NOTT to success over this trip at Chelmsford 13 days ago. He looked a horse on good terms with himself that day showing a smart change of gear before being eased down at the finish. The form has been franked since with the second Badayel going close at Wolverhampton on Monday and the fourth Fujaira King bolting up at Kempton on Wednesday. He has to give weight all round here but could prove a cut above these so is one to keep on side. Dana Forever is far from straightforward but looks the main danger to the selection.
Notebook Selection
Dundalk 6.00 Bowerman (15/8)
Talented sort who was fully entitled to go and win how he did on first run at this track over a mile earlier this month; that was his first start since being gelded so should have more to come especially going back up in trip now; most likely winner for me.
Princess Yaiza has been popular in the market and she is a smart mare but she has been absent for 15 months since running at the Breeders’ Cup and is entitled to need this. That coupled with the promise BOWERMAN showed when winning here over a mile on his first start since being gelded makes the latter a confident selection. It should be a good race but the extra yardage is likely to play into Adrian McGuinness’ 6yo’s hands. Kasperenko isn’t entirely ruled out but will need to find improvement from somewhere to figure on his first start for this trainer.
Notebook Double
Here you will find our Notebook Double which is profitable to follow. Remember to back the double (and singles) to consistent stakes and you’ll always come out on top in the end. The worst thing you can do is not back them after a blank day.
