Thyme White landed us a nice winner at Musselburgh yesterday and we head to Carlisle for our first tracker horse of the week. NEVILLE’S CROSS looks sure to improve again for that latest effort and he looks a good bet to serve it up to the favourite Goobinator. The latter won well at Wetherby before running right up to form when second last time but is short enough in the betting and might be worth taking on. I’ll be surprised if the pair don’t battle this out as Archi’s Affaire looks a danger in the betting but will need to be pretty useful to outgun the front two.

Looks the exact type this trainer does well with and ran creditably to finish fifth at Kempton on stable debut last month; drop back to 5f looks ideal now and with further improvement on the cards should be going close in this company.
Having raced keenly and met trouble on stable debut BEZZA’S LAD might be about to gain compensation dropped back to the minimum here. He is a useful horse and a mark of 63 looks too good to ignore. The blinkers go back on and he has been strong in the market all day so connections are clearly looking to land a bit of a touch today. It wouldn’t surprise me if Alistair Rawlinson bounced out and tries to make all, he certainly has the speed to do it. Comeatchoo won well at Kempton but isn’t sure to follow that up. Street Life is another one to consider.
