Ran out an impressive winner on just his second start over fences at Catterick; second and third won since so the form stacks up; fell here last time so needs to bounce back but would be a danger to all if he does; still has potential.
I think it’s worth chancing ALMAZHAR GARDE here. I know he fell last time but his win prior to that was pretty impressive and granted a clear round I think he’ll go close. He is a big horse who should do better as he gains experience and a mark of 124 is well within reach given it’s just his fourth start over fences. Molineaux brings the sexy profile to the race and is definitely a worthy favourite but given the prices I think it’s worth siding with Charlie Longsdon’s 5yo. Town Parks took advantage of a much-reduced mark to win over C&D 3 weeks ago and is another to consider.

C&D winner who was right back to his best winning over 1m2f at Kempton last month, running on well to lead close home; remains feasibly treated following a 2lb rise; hold up style often requires luck but should get this run to suit so makes plenty of appeal.
Another decent price for our second Notebook of the day. DELEYLL ran on well from off the pace to score at Kempton and given he struck over this C&D last year looks to have strong claims of following up for John Butler with Adam Kirby back in the saddle. The likes of Sunshineandbubbles and Mr Carbonator should make sure this isn’t a crawl so patient tactics could again play dividends. Traveller is probably the biggest danger having won over C&D when last seen. A 3lb rise is fair so he is definitely one to consider. Kybosh is also interesting in the first-time blinkers.
