Improving all the time and won well on stable debut over C&D last month; looks sure to build on that and a 6lb rise demands more but his younger legs could see him have too much for the favourite Ekhtiyaar; James Doyle on again.
Really good day yesterday as the Notebook produced 5/1 and 4/1 winners to land us a 25/1 tracker double. We head to Dubai for our first Notebook horse today and ROULSTON SCAR looks good value to turn over the favourite Ekhtiyaar. I think too much is being made of the collateral form over Dream Today and the selection is open to greater improvement on just his second start for Simon Crisford. The pair should dominate but I’ll be interested to see how Angel Alexander goes as he looks a horse on the up too and may do well going forward.

Promising filly who has run two very good races to date; bumped into Galadriel on debut at Beverley and then found Desert Safari too strong at Wolverhampton; looks to have a big chance of getting off the mark at the third attempt with the promise of more to come.
The form SAY IT SIMPLE has shown so far should be good enough for her to open her account at the third time of asking. She is a promising type and bumped into a decent horse last time. Youneverletmedown was well backed on debut at Kempton but ran green and never figured. She put that right winning at a huge price over 5f here last time and looks the main danger. Barbelo ran well at Wolverhampton but was well held at Southwell last time so while she looks a fair filly you’d think she’ll need more to trouble the front two in the market.
