THE NAP LANDED YESTERDAY AS BUZZ WON A SHADE COSILY AT 13/8! WE HEAD TO CHELMSFORD TONIGHT!
Chelmsford 6.15 Tone The Barone (3/1)
Looked a horse on the upgrade winning well at Yarmouth in the summer last year; not so good at Windsor on final start but catches the eye back from a break following a wind op; further progress on the cards and worth chancing to make a winning return.
Buzz landed us a nice winner yesterday, getting up to win a shade cosily at the line. We head to Chelmsford on Friday evening for the NAP and TONE THE BARONE catches the eye back from a 172-day break. He has undergone wind surgery and could continue his progression now. Hayley Turner has been in good form lately and takes over in the saddle. Equally Fast should ensure this isn’t a crawl which should suit the selection too. Something Lucky and Roundabout Magic head the dangers but I’ll be disappointed if the selection doesn’t prove good enough in a winnable race.

Bangor 2.10 High Counsel (4/1)
Not getting any younger but clearly at the top of his game now chasing a four-timer; came there swinging under this claimer at Warwick last time and hard to oppose in current form; 10lb rise to contend with but expecting him to go close.
I was really impressed with HIGH COUNSEL again last time, coming there on the bridle before moving clear. He is lightly raced for his age and has never been in as good a form. A 10lb rise makes life tougher again but the way he won last time it would take a brave man to oppose so fingers crossed he can land the four-timer. Big Difference and Angels Antics should make sure this is run at a good clip which should help the selection travel into it before launching a late challenge. Sheneededtherun is also thriving and rates the biggest danger having impressed at Wetherby last time.
