Notebook Selection

WE HAVE TWO STRONG TRACKER HORSES ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON!

Naas 2.12 Gin On Lime (15/8)

Won juvenile hurdle at Clairefontaine in July and made an encouraging start for this yard when fourth behind Minella Melody at Fairyhouse; that was a strong looking race so with further improvement she looks a leading player here.

I’m expecting GIN ON LIME to open her account here for Jessica Harrington. She ran a cracker on debut under Rules to finish fourth in a strong Grade 3 event at Fairyhouse. She had the right horses in front of her in Minella Melody, Colreevy and Dolcita and can do better with that experience under her belt. She should prove too strong for Aramax who was back to form finishing third at Fairyhouse last time after falling at Leopardstown. He is the clear danger but I’m hoping the selection is open to greater improvement. It will be interesting to see who leads as there isn’t much pace on.

Notebook Selection

Lingfield 3.30 Expressionist (15/8)

Promising type who made a winning start at Ascot, showing a smart turn of foot; midfield in the Norfolk on next start and then below form at Sandown; given time since and been gelded so could kick on now making his handicap debut off a fair mark.

Given he was deemed good enough to run in the Norfolk an opening mark of just 89 should prove within reach for this chestnut by Night Of Thunder. EXPRESSIONIST was disappointing on final start at Sandown but has been given time to fill his frame and the gelding operation could bring about further improvement now he’s settled down. Will To Win has won three of his four starts and is on a real roll but he faces competition for the lead from Electric Ladyland and is potentially meeting a better animal in the selection. Never Before won cosily at Dundalk and is also respected but will need more.

Notebook Double

Here you will find our Notebook Double which is profitable to follow. Remember to back the double (and singles) to consistent stakes and you’ll always come out on top in the end. The worst thing you can do is not back them after a blank day.
