NAP – Best selection of the day
WE’VE LANDED 3 WINNING NAP’S FROM OUR LAST 4 AND HAVE ANOTHER STRONG FANCY AT NEWCASTLE ON TUESDAY!
Newcastle 6.50 Lua De Mel (10/11)
Smart looking filly who made every yard a winning one on debut at Lingfield last month; second and third both won since so the form has a strong look to it; open to improvement and should be hard to beat under a 7lb penalty.
I don’t usually NAP a horse that has run just once for obvious reasons but the time figure LUA DE MEL recorded when winning at Lingfield combined with how well the form has worked out (second and third winning) I think she’s capable of shouldering a 7lb penalty to follow up. Kayat is a danger but he has had a few chances and might always be playing second best here. Ben Curtis should bounce out on the fav and with a bit of luck make all the running. The NAP has been in great form lately so hopefully we can make it 4 winners from our last 5 selections.
NB – Second best selection of the day
THE NEXT BEST RUNS AT CHELMSFORD ON TUESDAY AS WE LOOK TO GET BACK ON TRACK!
Chelmsford 4.15 Estrela Star (7/4)
Looked better than ever winning at Kempton over two miles last week, readily on top at the finish; turned out quickly under a penalty and back in trip but with Social City out looks the most likely winner; further improvement on the cards.
I was looking forward to seeing Social City here but sadly he’s now a non runner. That very much leaves the door open for ESTRELA STAR to follow up. He won impressively last time and looks up to defying a 5lb penalty turned out quickly. Contingency Fee should put the pace to the race and I expect Kieran O’Neill to be in the box seat given he stays further. Grandscape ran well when fourth at Lingfield and is probably the main danger but Muraaqeb is also respected given he’s a four-time C&D winner. At the bigger prices Mr Fox might be a bit of value to hit the frame.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Chelmsford and Newcastle on Tuesday.
