First Flow bossed the opposition at Leicester yesterday to land our sixth winning NAP in the last seven days and we have another confident selection for you on Friday as we hope to extend this winning sequence. BATTLE OF MARATHON clearly loves this C&D and caught the eye with how comfortably he did it last time, just nudged out by Darragh Keenan. He avoids a penalty for that as it was an apprentice contest and this looks a good bit of placement for him to follow up. Jamaican Jill looks the danger but will need to settle if she’s to make a race of it with the favourite.

Southwell 7.45 Love Your Work (2/1)
Forged clear to win impressively on debut for this yard over 7f here on Wednesday; still looks nicely handicapped under a penalty so this looks a good opportunity for him to follow up; obvious claims in a winnable race.
I’ll be disappointed if LOVE YOUR WORK can’t follow up here. He won really well over 7f here earlier in the week and was keeping on strongly at the line so the step back up to a mile looks sure to suit. He is clearly in good order given he’s been turned out so quickly and I expect him to have too much for them. Royal Big Night has never tried this surface before but is bred to go on it so would be a danger if building on his Chelmsford fourth. Little India is a past C&D who failed to fire last time, finishing last, but would be a player if bouncing back.
