Notebook Selection
BOTH NOTEBOOK RUNNERS WON YESTERDAY MEANING WE’VE NOW HAD 6 WINNERS IN THE LAST 5 DAYS!
Ascot 1.50 Copperhead (3/1)
Progressive young stayer who ran out an impressive winner at Wincanton before following up at Newbury; looks open to plenty of improvement given he is thoroughly unexposed at this distance and one to keep firmly on side.
I think COPPERHEAD could be a lively outsider in the RSA at Cheltenham next month so he’ll be wanting to win here if he’s going to justify that. He looks a young horse on the up and I was really taken with his win at Newbury last time. Obviously this is harder again but I’m yet to see a ceiling to his ability so hopefully he can hold his own. Pym has impressed this season and looks a big threat while Sam Brown has also impressed. Danny Whizzbang and Two For Gold add further spice to the mix so this could be a race that works out well in time. I’m looking forward to it and the 3/1 is very appealing.

Gowran Park 2.54 Chris’s Dream (11/4)
Taking performance to win the Troytown, laughing at the handicapper; back in trip here and up against a classy rival but clearly very talented and no surprise if he proves too strong at the death; more to come and rates a lovely long-term prospect.
Yard won this last year with Monalee and they look to have an equally exciting sort in CHRIS’S DREAM. He is a scopey sort who swept through the field to win the Troytown impressively and he looks a horse firmly on the upgrade right now. This is a different test dropping back in trip taking on a speedy sort in Real Steel but I think the testing conditions will bring his stamina into play and he can prove too strong in the closing stages. Death Duty would have needed the run behind Benie Des Dieux in the Galmoy and heads back over fences now. He can only be watched at present though.
Notebook Double
Here you will find our Notebook Double which is profitable to follow. Remember to back the double (and singles) to consistent stakes and you’ll always come out on top in the end. The worst thing you can do is not back them after a blank day.
