Multellie powered clear to land us a 9/2 winner at Carlisle yesterday. We continue in great form and head to Musselburgh for our first tracker horse of the day on Tuesday. FIRST ACCOUNT ran a cracker on debut over fences for Donald McCain and has since switched hands to Keith Dalgleish. He is open to further improvement and looks a good price to serve it up to Pogue here. The favourite did it well at Doncaster but an 8lb rise does look a bit harsh to me so he might be worth taking on.

Punchestown 4.50 Mick The Jiver (3/1)
Won convincingly over fences at Navan two starts back, staying on well; ran respectably when midfield in the Thyestes last month and looks a big player back over hurdles now off an attractive mark; looks a winnable race.
The old boy MICK THE JIVER is a better chaser than he is hurdler but given the form he’s been in, winning at Navan before running well in defeat in the Thyestes connections are chancing him back over timber off an attractive handicap mark and it hasn’t gone unnoticed. A mark of 99 is too good to pass up and I think he has to go close in a race of this nature. Ballea Fox ran well when second at Thurles last time and should figure. Ask Mary is another one to consider if the favourite does fluff his lines.
