Won this race 12 months ago and arrives off the back of two promising efforts beaten a length at Wolverhampton before going down just a neck at the same venue last time; races off the same mark here and looks to have an obvious chance.
The NAP continues to go from strength to strength and Treacherous won well yesterday to give us our eighth winner from our last ten selections. Today we head to Chelmsford and TIME TO REASON makes plenty of appeal here for Charlie Wallis and Pierre-Louis Jamin. He just failed to get to Jorvik Prince at Wolverhampton last time and racing off the same mark should get back to winning ways here. He likes to be held up so as long as he gets a clear run through I think he’ll win!

Sedgefield 2.03 Sign Of War (7/4)
Stayed on strongly in the mud to win on chase debut at Chepstow last month; cut through the pack to follow up back over hurdles at Sedgefield last time and should be hard to beat back in this sphere with the promise of more to come.
This won’t be easy under a big weight but I just can’t get away from SIGN OF WAR here for Evan Williams and Adam Wedge. He won with a bit to spare on chase debut at Chepstow last month so although he is 13lb higher he looks a good bet to complete the hat-trick. Mount Oliver is the biggest threat in the market and although he ran well when second to a subsequent winner in Ballybreen at Exeter last time he needs a fair bit more to ask a question of the favourite for me.
