NAP – Best selection of the day
THE NAP WON AGAIN YESTERDAY AS MISS ELSA BOLTED UP! WE HEAD TO SOUTHWELL ON SATURDAY NIGHT!
Leopardstown 4.40 Poker Party (7/4)
Improving staying chaser who showed a good attitude to prevail at Listowel in September having travelled best; fourth given too much to do in a fiercely competitive handicap here last time; on an upward curve and looks the most likely winner.
We head over to Ireland for our best bet on Sunday and POKER PARTY makes plenty of appeal for Henry de Bromhead and Rachael Blackmore. He has done nothing but improve since switched over fences and ran another big race last time just given too much to do. Back in trip he should have too much for these. He is a strong traveller so this sort of test looks ideal. Anibale Fly is extremely talented and rates the main danger if bouncing back.
NB – Second best selection of the day
THE NEXT BEST HAS BEEN IN GREAT FORM AND RUNS AT SEDGEFIELD ON SUNDAY!
Sedgefield 2.10 Oxwich Bay (5/2)
Knocking at the door and another solid run when third to an improver in Demopolis at Ludlow last time; this easier switched back over hurdles and might prove tough to pass off the front end under Adam Wedge.
He has been sent off fav the last twice without getting his head in front but this looks an outstanding chance for OXWICH BAY to get his head back in front. He ran well when third to Demopolis last time and back over hurdles off the same mark in easier company he has to be involved in the finish. Even at the time of writing 5/2 is under pressure so it looks like he’s going to be a warm order.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Sedgefield and Leopardstown on Sunday. The Daily Double has won 3 times in the last 4 days and we’ll be hoping to add another winner to cap off a profitable week.
