Notebook Selection
THE NOTEBOOK HAS BEEN IN GREAT FORM WITH 19 WINNERS IN THE LAST 20 DAYS!
Leopardstown 2.00 Barrington Court (9/4)
Improving mare who took her time to come with a challenge but finished strongest at Punchestown to run down a good horse in Getaway Gorgeous; back up in trip should suit and hard to beat with further progress on the cards.
Larquebuse wasn’t suited by a tactical race at Cork last time and is better than that but even still she is bumping into the improving BARRINGTON COURT here and may always be playing second best. The latter really impressed with how she knuckled down over a trip shorter than ideal and back up to two and a half miles here she should prove too strong under Mark Walsh. It looks between the pair with Darrens Hope booked for third.
Notebook Selection
Huntingdon 3.25 Royale Pagaille (6/4)
French recruit who was far from fluent when second in a match with Vision Des Flos at Chepstow on return from a mammoth 449-day absence; likely to strip a lot fitter now and this looks a good opening for him.
I’m not convinced by Equus Secretus so that very much leaves the door open for Venetia Williams French recruit ROYALE PAGAILLE. He bumped into Vision Des Flos in a match on his debut under Rules at Chepstow following a lengthy layoff and that outing would have done him good, physically and mentally. He should be a lot sharper now and it’s no surprise to see him vying for favouritism. I’m expecting a big run!
Notebook Double
Here you will find our Notebook Double which is profitable to follow. Remember to back the double (and singles) to consistent stakes and you’ll always come out on top in the end. The worst thing you can do is not back them after a blank day.
