Notebook Selection
THE NOTEBOOK HAS BEEN IN GREAT FORM WITH 19 WINNERS IN THE LAST 3 WEEKS!
Leopardstown 2.55 Discordantly (15/8)
Failed to fire in a Grade 2 behind Captain Cj at Navan last time but this will be the easiest company he would have faced for a while and looks a leading player on all known form; worth chancing to bounce back.
It’s a tough afternoon but hopefully we’ve found you a winner in DISCORDANTLY for Jessica Harrington. He is a very good horse and he was mixing it with the big boys last time in a Grade 2 at Navan. This is much easier and it’ll be really disappointing if he can’t make his presence felt. Obviously Dortmund Park is a danger but he was beaten 52 lengths by Samcro and has a bit to prove even in this company.
Notebook Selection
Wetherby 4.15 Flegmatik (9/2)
Talented sort but fragile; won a juvenile hurdle over this C&D and ran a promising race back from a wind op when second over track and trip in November before shaping better than the bare result in the Betfair Hurdle behind Pic D’Orhy; should go close.
Again I’m taking a bit of a chance on one today but it’s that sort of afternoon and FLEGMATIK is a nice price at around 9/2. He has only made the track four times since running in a Listed Hurdle over in France and could have plenty of improvement in the locker. He was beaten 12 lengths in the Betfair Hurdle but obviously this is easier and if he comes on for that (which he should) he looks a key player in a race lacking depth.
Notebook Double
Here you will find our Notebook Double which is profitable to follow. Remember to back the double (and singles) to consistent stakes and you’ll always come out on top in the end. The worst thing you can do is not back them after a blank day.
