So what is the Notebook all about?

As explained above our Notebook is a collection of horses we have stored that have caught our eye for whatever reason. We use bet365 My Horses feature where you can star the horse and make key notes which are stored for you to read next time they run. We are lucky to watch every race, every day so as you can imagine our Notebook is extremely large. We often have 4-5 notifications a day with runners (sometimes even against each other). What we have found most profitable is selecting just 2 and putting them up on our website.

February figures?

February was another profitable month for the Notebook as we struck 23 winners. This meant we had 33 losers (56 total selections with 2 a day and one day there was no racing due to the weather). This means the Notebook was operating at a 41.07% strike rate producing +35.05 points profit to level stakes. So if you’d staked £5 on every Notebook we tipped last month you would be £175.25 richer now. The average price we tipped across the month was 2.96/1 so they are usually decent prices. Our biggest winner was Almazhar Garde on the 5th February at 6/1. Our most notable was probably Copperhead at the same price on 15th February. Chris’s Dream also won that day at 3/1 and landed us a 27/1 tracker double in the process. Obviously we do have bad days as otherwise we’d all be millionaires but it’s long-term consistent profit that is important to us.

Cheltenham Festival Best Notebook

We will have plenty of Notebook runners over the Cheltenham week but we’ve decided to let you know our best bet nice and early. Now this horse is still entered in the RSA as well as the Marsh Novices’ Chase (formerly the JLT) and it’s still not sure where he’ll go but if he does go for the latter then he is a really strong bet at 5/1. ALLAHO has always had the stamp of a chaser and has impressed on two starts to date over the larger obstacles. He was entitled to need the run returning from a 241-day absence when bumping into stablemate Easy Game at Leopardstown. That horse has since pushed Faugheen close so the form is right up there anyway. The selection then improved to make all the running at Fairyhouse and impressed with how he strung them out in behind, staying on strongly to the line to win by 21 lengths. He is clearly improving with experience and could still be anything at this stage. I did notice he was a bit out to his left at times so this track should obviously help going left-handed. He has so much scope and if he goes off the front he could get these all at it turning in. With bet365 non runner no bet the 5/1 looks worth snapping up and if he does end up going for the RSA we get our money back anyway.
