FLANAGANS FIELD isn’t getting any younger but the handicapper has given him a hand dropping him 3lb since his last run and in a race that lacks quality he could prove a big player. He comes out well on the figures and has to be involved. The Herds Garden is slipping in the weights and is capable of putting up some resistance. Tim Rocco is the other horse to note down to a career-low mark with the cheekpieces on.

Kempton 6.15 Be Fair (9/4)
C&D winner in January beating a fair yardstick in Noble Fox (placed in next 3 starts); failed to fire over hurdles at Doncaster but back to form returned to this discipline at Lingfield last month; sure to go close especially if getting away on terms.
Given how lightly raced he is BE FAIR should be capable of going close here. He struck over C&D back in January following up his Lingfield win and did well to bounce back following a poor run over hurdles when third at Lingfield last time. He is still open to further improvement and in a race that won’t take much winning he looks a leading candidate. Luck Of Clover should run well without being good enough. Brambledown is probably the threat into handicap company for the first time.
