NAP – Best selection of the day
THE NAP RUNS OVER IN IRELAND TONIGHT AT DUNDALK AND LOOKS A ROCK SOLID BET!
Dundalk 6.45 Happaugue (2/1)
Really impressed with how he travelled before staying on strongly to open his account over C&D 63 days ago, brushing aside 13 rivals easily; form franked with the second Rock On Aidan winning well next time; still looks well treated despite a 9lb rise.
It’s a bit of a wait for Friday’s NAP as we head under the lights in Ireland at Dundalk. HAPPAUGUE fairly bolted up over C&D in January and even with a 9lb rise to contend with looks a leading player if backing that up. He is lightly raced and it was his best run by a fair way. He stepped up from a mile to this trip and the extra yardage proved ideal. I think he’ll get a good pace to aim at again and I don’t see what’s not to like. Anfaass is second fav but often finds one too good. Ragtime Red could go well and is a danger.
NB – Second best selection of the day
THE NEXT BEST HAS WON THREE TIMES IN THE LAST FOUR DAYS AND RUNS AT FFOS LAS ON FRIDAY!
Ffos Las 3.55 Pres (9/4)
Caught the eye with how well he jumped to make all on chase debut at Lingfield in November; run well three of four starts since and pushed a well treated rival close at Newbury last time; races off the same mark and makes plenty of appeal.
This should be a real test and that can play to the strengths of PRES who ran right up to form when going close at Newbury last week. He is off the same mark here and deserves to get his head back in front. Heavenly Promise is a mare with plenty of ability but she can be a tricky ride so while she’s a danger I wouldn’t be massively convinced. Still Believing has been knocking on the door and is another to respect. I’ll be disappointed if the selection can’t see this bunch off though. It’s a very winnable race.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Ffos Las and Dundalk on Friday. The Daily Double won 3 times last week and won again at 9/2 on Tuesday. Fingers crossed we can bounce back before we head into the weekend!
