Chelmsford 2.35 Festive Love (11/4)
Frankel filly who caught the eye when well backed on debut, running green when asked to close finishing well to be nearest finish; should know more now and likely to improve plenty with the step up in trip sure to suit.
The form hasn’t exactly been franked but FESTIVE LOVE did impress me on debut and enough so to oppose the short-priced fav Scherzo. Michael Bell’s chestnut was well punted on debut but she just ran a bit green when asked to pick up the eventual winner but the penny did seem to drop late and with the extra yardage in her favour here she is a confident bet to go one better. The fav is by Golden Horn and also ran a promising race on debut but in terms of price looks a bit too short in the market to me.

Ffos Las 4.30 Barntown (11/4)
Didn’t achieve a great deal over in Ireland but shown plenty of encouragement since switching hands to Tim Vaughan; won well at Lingfield in heavy ground and backed that up to finish sixth in a fiercely competitive handicap at Cheltenham; this much easier.
I know BARNTOWN disappointed at Sandown last time but he was just never going that day and Alan Johns struggled to get him in the race. He is in much calmer waters here and he looked on the improve prior to that. He doesn’t mind it when the mud is flying and everything looks in place for a big run. I think the betting has it right in terms of a danger as Call Me Sid should be a threat after bumping into a progressive horse in No Rematch over 3 miles here last time. Astra Via is another who could also get involved.
Notebook Double
Here you will find our Notebook Double which is profitable to follow. Remember to back the double (and singles) to consistent stakes and you’ll always come out on top in the end. The worst thing you can do is not back them after a blank day.
