Lightly raced for his age and ran best race to date when chasing home the progressive Billingsley over C&D in December; that rival has won his next two starts so the form looks really strong especially in the context of this race; should win.
The NAP was back to winning ways yesterday as Happaugue stayed on strongly to score at Dundalk. We head to Hereford today and SAINT DE VASSY looks to have been found a good opportunity to open his account. He chased home an improver last time and if running up to that level looks the most likely winner. He remains open to improvement being so lightly raced so is a confident bet. Hollywoodien needs to put in a clear round but would be a danger if doing so.

Chelmsford 7.30 Weekender (6/4)
Top-rated here and should prove tough to beat under Frankie Dettori returning from a 3-month absence; form rather tailed off on final start but freshened up since and is 3-3 at this track so looks to have strong claims.
The NB couldn’t really be in better form and we head to Chelmsford on Saturday evening with another confident selection. WEEKENDER is the best horse in this field and if bouncing back to something like his best following a short absence he should win this. He clearly likes this track having won all 3 starts here and makes more appeal than main market rival Mildenberger, who lacks the class of the selection. I’d probably put forward Red Verdon as the danger and for the forecast spot.
