NAP – Best selection of the day
THE NAP RUNS AT DUNDALK ON FRIDAY AFTERNOON!
Dundalk 3.30 Followme Followyou (7/2)
Promising filly who ran her best race to date when second to an improver over C&D last time; remains unexposed on AW and with further progress to come should be hard to beat here under Colin Keane.
Just the 1 meeting to get stuck into on Friday and we have a juicy NAP for you at Dundalk. FOLLOWME FOLLOWYOU caught the eye running well behind Rock On Aidan over C&D in January. She built on that to finish second to an improver in Happaugue (our NAP on the day) 2 weeks ago and with further progress likely she should be hard to beat here. The 7/2 makes plenty of appeal and I imagine she’ll go off a fair bit shorter. Too Esteban looks the main danger on form but he’ll need to settle better than he did last time.
NB – Second best selection of the day
THE NEXT BEST RUNS AT DUNDALK THIS AFTERNOON!
Dundalk 4.00 Cautious Approach (4/1)
Likeable mare who dug deep to prevail over C&D in February from a solid yardstick in Pak Army; backed that up with a big run over track and trip again last time only beaten half a length into third; races off the same mark so should have a big shout again.
I can’t see how CAUTIOUS APPROACH doesn’t go close again. She won narrowly over C&D before going close last time. If this pans out better for her I think she could bounce back to winning ways as a mark of 76 is still well within reach. She has steadily improved and makes plenty of appeal at 4/1. Tonkinese chased her home last time and comes into the reckoning again as does Irradiate who ran an encouraging race when narrowly beaten into fourth over two miles here last month.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They both run at Dundalk on Friday (only meeting).
