Taken advantage of an ease in grade to win his last two, initially over 6f before improving again to win over a mile latest; needs more again but good reason to expect further gains and the hat-trick looks a distinct possibility.
Another winning NAP in South Africa today so hopefully we can continue this good run of form into the evening cards in the US. BLUE BUFF could be a warm order tonight for John Servis. He has won his last two and has plenty going for him to complete a hat-trick of wins. He won by 6 lengths the last day so this trip suits him well and he should have too much for the likes of Gray Beau who is consistent and Yes I See who should run well without quite being good enough.

Race 9 Gulfstream 9.07 Soldado (5/4)
Back to winning ways on his most recent outing over C&D justifying favouritism in good style; should have more to offer as a sprinter and this looks a good opportunity to follow up under Luis Saez; expected to be a warm order.
Todd Pletcher’s colt SOLDADO looks to have an obvious chance of notching a double here. He won well last time and under similar conditions looks a solid bet to follow up. He is unexposed as a sprinter so is open to progress. Mihos was beaten five lengths when last seen but comes into the reckoning now with the cheekpieces on. He might need this though and could be found wanting in the dying strides. Belle Tapisserie is probably the solid one for a place on debut for Joseph Orseno having won when last seen.
