Race 12 Gulfstream 9.26 Zulu Alpha (4/6)
Made relentless headway up the rail to win a Grade 1 from Magic Wand in January; backed that up swooping wide around the entire field to win up in trip here in February; more to come yet and the hat-trick looks a distinct possibility.
Miz Chaplin was barely out of first gear to land our NAP here last night and we head into Saturday evening with our best bet chasing a hat-trick. ZULU ALPHA is an impressive individual and he should prove too good for these. He brushed aside Magic Wand to win a Grade 1 here in January and confirmed that was no fluke justifying favouritism up in trip last time. He has a relentless way of going and with a clear run will win this. Channel Cat had excuses last time and should put up the most resistance.

Race 14 Gulfstream 10.36 Tiz The Law (6/5)
Progressive colt who has won three of his four starts, arguably unlucky not to be unbeaten; got racing soon enough last time but powered into the lead and still doesn’t look the finished article so should have further improvement to come.
We stick with the improving TIZ THE LAW in the Florida Derby. He is likely to be a warm order but that’s with good reason so hopefully he can make it four wins from five starts. He ranged up early to Eye Indien last time but quickly asserted and despite showing signs of inexperience was miles on top coming towards the line. The latter has since won by a wide margin impressively so the form has a strong look to it. Independence Hall is another to consider in terms of running into a place.
