THE NAP RUNS AT GULFSTREAM TONIGHT & IS CHASING A FOUR-TIMER!
Race 5 Gulfstream 8.08 Dalarna (11/10)
Always in control when starting his winning sequence here in January, bossing them throughout; had to come from just off the pace swinging wide to win impressively again next start; came between horses to land the hat-trick latest; still has more to offer.
There’s been no stopping DALARNA in recent times, completing a course hat-trick impressively last month. That turn of foot in the straight is too hot to handle for most and a similar scenario looks likely to pan out here tonight. I think he’s at his best just tucked in off the pace so if Victor Lebron can get him well positioned I don’t see anything stopping him notching up the four-timer. Power Walker made the most of an easier task last time, justifying odds-on favouritism, and looks to be the biggest danger to the selection.

Race 2 Tampa Bay Downs 5.53 Sindarius (5/4)
Second last turning in here last time in a much better race but picked up smartly on the wide outside to run on strongly for second, powering home just failing to get there; this easier and if he shows that finishing burst again he should win.
This looks a great opportunity for SINDARIUS to finally get back to winning ways tonight. He ran his best race for a while when just failing to reel in Fox Rox over track and trip in February and this looks easier. He should be able to lay up with the pace a bit better tonight and if he does I don’t think anything will be finishing as well as him down the wide outside. Chaos Kid has been in good form and rates the biggest danger, I wouldn’t want to see him get first run on the selection as he clearly finds plenty off the bridle.
