Ran out a convincing winner at Barcaldine last time out catching the eye with how he went through the race and settled it; likely to improve for that seeing as it was his first run since August and this looks another winnable race.
Our first Notebook horse Down Under runs in Race 2 at Emerald. ALFIARTO was a big eye-catcher in victory last time and with a similar make-up here he is expected to come out on top again. 13/8 look generous and I think they’ll back him in. Flewshot was back to his best last time but he is bumping into better opposition here namely the favourite so has work to do. Zorro Feminino is another to consider in terms of a danger but I think they’ll all be playing second-fiddle to the jolly.

Race 4 Randwick 4.20 Away Game (9/4)
Exciting filly who has won three of her six starts including success in the Magic Millions and ran well in the Blue Diamond before finishing second in the Golden Slipper; possesses plenty of class and if she runs up to form she will win this.
I’m really keen on AWAY GAME here. She is a filly on the up and ran huge in the Blue Diamond racing wide without cover before finishing fourth. She backed that up when second last time and is still improving. This is a good race too but she looks to hold all the aces. Dame Giselle disappointed last time only midfield but would be a danger if bouncing back. See You Soon is another one going the right way so she might be a bit of value to hit the frame.
