Race 10 Gulfstream 10.47 Trev (1/1)
Won his last four starts including two over track and trip; good early speed to get on the lead last time before galloping them into submission; barely knew he had a race; this tougher but couldn’t be in better form and not a great deal of pace so may get a soft lead.
The five-timer beckons for TREV here. He was quick out and made all impressively when last seen at Tampa Bay and a similar scenario should play out here. He has bundles of energy and looked a fresh horse crossing the line last time so I’d be confident he’d be in the same form here. Interestingly Isaiah Wiseman has been booked for the ride and claims a handy 7lb which is another positive. He is a textbook ride in terms of getting out and forcing the pace so his jockeys’ inexperience hopefully won’t cost him.

Race 8 Gulfstream 9.46 Drama In Dixie (5/4)
Ran a good race in much better company penultimate start finishing second over track and trip; better than the bare result last time and if bouncing back in much calmer waters will be hard to stop under Tyler Gaffalione.
He’s quite short in the market but with good reason and I’m expecting DRAMA IN DIXIE to prove a class above these here. If he returns to that form that saw him second to King Of Ranch I think that will be good enough to take this out. He likes to race up with or on the speed so expect to see positive tactics again from Tyler Gaffalione. He is riding at a 46% strike rate in the last two weeks and continues to impress me in the saddle. Hero Up looks the biggest danger as he found plenty for pressure when winning last time.
