Running to a consistent level and won’t be inconvenienced by the slight drop back in trip here so obvious claims of finally opening his account in what looks an easier maiden on paper; drawn wide but likely to just track them through before coming through late.
This looks a great chance for DEVAN to finally make the breakthrough for Adam Duggan. He has been running consistently well and deserves to get off the mark now. I like the make-up for him here with pace from Excelsa and Glendor likely to set it up for him. He will need to avoid the early scrimmaging but if he does and just tracks the leaders through he will be a major threat to all. He is still around the 7/4 mark and it wouldn’t surprise me if he goes off nearer even money come post time.

Race 7 Murwillumbah 7.25 Triple The Fun (2/1)
Smart looking filly who improved from her promising debut run to get off the mark here in March, making all; bumped into a nice horse in Annie Ethyl (our Early Mover today) at Grafton last time and with further improvement should be extremely hard to beat here.
We head to Murwillumbah for our second Aussie tracker horse of the day and TRIPLE THE FUN is expected to return to winning ways for Matthew Dunn. She looks a smart filly in the making and was far from disgraced when second to a nice type at Grafton last time. That was just her third start so she’ll be fitter now and is open to further progress. Annie Ethyl is still in the market but should run in Race 5 on the card (entered for both currently). Last time out winner Sugar Baby is feared most as she also has more to come.
