THE NAP RUNS AT LA TESTE DE BUCH ON WEDNESDAY MORNING AS WE LOOK TO BOUNCE BACK!
La Teste De Buch 10.55 Fira (8/11)
Impressive winner of her only start at Mont De Marsan in March, clear by over six lengths at the line; justified favouritism on that occasion and looks set to do the same here with further improvement likely; should be a warm order.
Obviously a few unknowns with some horses making their debuts here but the way FIRA won on debut it’s going to take a good one to beat her. It’s been tough going in France so far but hopefully we can get back on the winning trial on Wednesday with a confident NAP. Her trainer Didier Guillemin does well with these types and it’s hard to look past her. Queen Margaux ran a solid race on debut and should be thereabouts. Boy D Argent should come on for that debut run too and hit the frame.

La Teste De Buch 12.25 Maleha (3/1)
Failed to fire on debut but put that right on return dropping back in trip to finish second last time at a big price; she had five of today’s rivals in behind and with further gains likely she should confirm that and come out on top here.
Sticking with the unexposed MALEHA here for Sogorb and Crastus. She ran a much better race when second last time and looked much more comfortable dropping in trip. With further improvement on the cards she is expected to go very close here. It’s competitive but she makes plenty of appeal at 3/1 in the market. Shadad ran a stinker on return but previous form entitles him to be bang there so is respected. Mountasir is probably the one I fear most as he is a nice looking colt who showed promise when fourth on debut.
