Showed a good attitude to get up late and win by a neck at Oaklawn Park in March; open to further improvement and with plenty of pace on here should get a good toe into it before pouncing late; looks sure to go close.
The US NAP was back to winning ways last night as Figure stayed on gamely up the inside to get there and win a shade cosily. We’ve now had 20 winners in the last 28 days and will look to continue our great form at Churchill Downs tonight. HIS GIANT has strong claims of following up in Race 5. He looks an improver and did well to win last time. There’s a lot of pace on so he’ll just track that through before angling out and firing late. Hopefully he comes with a winning run under Talamo. Feeling It is probably just the main danger.

Race 9 Gulfstream 9.52 Admiral Lynch (7/4)
Gutsy colt who found plenty to draw clear and win by over four lengths on penultimate start; went down narrowly over 6f here last time and with further gains likely should get his head back in front here; will find this easier than last time.
We head to Gulfstream on Thursday night as we look to land 4 winning NB’s from our last 5 and ADMIRAL LYNCH stands out under Ortiz. He is a likeable colt who went down narrowly in a Grade 3 here last time. This is easier and he should make it two wins from his last three starts. Extrordinary Jerry looks the main threat having scored by over ten lengths over a mile here last time. Mi Tres Por Ciento won here last month so is also entitled to be thereabouts.
