Frankel filly who showed promise amidst greenness when fourth on debut at Deauville, sent off favourite; expected to step forward significantly from that initial effort and should prove too good for this field; bags of potential.
We head to Lyon Parilly for our best bet on Monday as we look to land a hat-trick of winners. BONNE IDEE is easily the most interesting filly on show here following her encouraging effort on debut in October last year. She was sent off favourite that day and just looked a bit clueless as to what was required. With improvement a near certainty she could easily improve a chunk now and based on her breeding could prove too classy for these. Satono Elpis was an expensive purchase at the sales and is respected on debut.

Lyon Parilly 3.35 Ulan (7/4)
Improving colt who built on an encouraging second at Cagnes-Sur-Mer in February before stepping forward again to dominate the opposition by five lengths at Compiegne last time; positive tactics likely to be adopted again here and he looks good to follow up.
It’s a bit of a wait for our NB at Lyon Parilly but hopefully worthwhile. Soumillon gets back on ULAN and this colt looks primed to strike again. I was impressed with how he kept grinding to win by five lengths last time and with potential for more to come he should be hard to peg back. No better man to be on top! Smart Cookie wasn’t beaten far last time and this isn’t much harder bar the favourite so she’s entitled to be in the mix. El Viso also has the right credentials to hit the frame.
