FRANKLY DARLING LANDED THE NAP A WINNER ON MONDAY! RUNS AT KEMPTON AGAIN ON WEDNESDAY!
Kempton 2.10 Sun Bear (1/1)
Bred in the purple and ran a race full of promise when missing by just a short head on debut over a mile at Nottingham in November; sure to improve now up in trip and expected to be too good for these; could be anything.
Obviously fitness is taken on trust but SUN BEAR might not need to be at her best to win this. She should be a lot more streetwise now after her near-miss on debut and the step up in trip can help her get off the mark. She is out of the stable’s Irish Oaks heroine Great Heavens and could be a filly to follow going forwards. She did plenty wrong on her first start so did well to go so close. There are some intriguing newcomers in here against her but with a run under her belt that experience can prove crucial. Likely to be a warm order.

Yarmouth 4.50 Pretty Pickle (6/4)
Born To Sea filly who is bred to be fast; sent off favourite on debut at Newbury but was denied a run at a crucial stage and wasn’t knocked about in fifth; hood fitted for return and she could step forward markedly on that now; sets a good standard.
We head to Yarmouth for our second best bet on Wednesday afternoon and PRETTY PICKLE is expected to have too much in the Fillies’ Maiden over a mile. She didn’t have the clearest of runs on debut but wasn’t given a hard time of it and is sure to improve now. With that under her belt she could take the required step forward to take this. She steps up in trip and that should help her settle. She doesn’t lack speed so it will be interesting to see if she tries and makes it. Fallon is on too which is another plus.
