Race 1 Belterra Park 5.35 Smart Arch (4/5)
Gradually getting the hang of things since being gelded and ran his best race to date when third at Fair Grounds last time; this looks easier so obvious chance of finally making the breakthrough; can push forward and should secure the lead.
The US NAP is back in form and we’re looking to land a hat-trick of winners on Thursday night. SMART ARCH will find this easier and with further gains likely he is taken to finally make the breakthrough and come out on top for Conor Murphy and Julie Burke. He will be a warm order but that’s with good reason. In terms of a danger Cass City lacks the experience of the selection but did show promise when third on debut so might be the one to put up the biggest challenge.

Race 6 Churchill Downs 8.42 Botero (10/11)
Gone very close the last twice and this ease in grade should see him back to winning ways; quite a bit of pace on so should get carried into it before proving too strong down the stretch; most likely winner.
We head to Churchill Downs for our second best bet of the night Stateside and BOTERO should hopefully have too much for his rivals in Race 6 on the card. He has been beaten just a neck on his last two starts and the door should open tonight. Both Plantagrane and Lanse Mitan should push forward and set it up for him. Again he is a short price in the market but it would take a brave man to oppose. Super Terrific finished third one place behind the selection on his penultimate start so rates the main danger.
