Lyon Parilly 6.05 Grand Glory (11/8)
Smart filly who ran a cracker when third in the Group 1 Prix De Diane Longines at Chantilly on final start last season; ready winner of a Listed race on return; more to come and looks to have a leading chance here.
I’m confident GRAND GLORY will take this out. She finished third in the French Oaks last season at a big price and made an impressive return to action to win a Listed race at Longchamp last month. She can build on that and looks to have a class-edge on this field. Nathaniel filly Mutamakina looks the biggest threat. She had looked promising and chased home Terebellum (our Notebook at Newmarket today) and then Sottsass before blowing out on final start. Clearly has ability but needs to bounce back so is passed over.

Lyon Parilly 5.00 Flighty Lady (11/8)
Useful filly who finished third to Albigna in the Prix Marcel Boussac on final start last season; encouraging third to Magic Attitude on return at Longchamp; step up in trip could see her improve again and is one to keep on side.
The Next Best runs in the Cleopatre Stakes at Lyon on Saturday. FLIGHTY LADY should take a bit of beating for Rouget and Demuro. She has strong form having placed in a Group 1 and the step up in trip could be the making of her now. This is competitive but she looks to have leading claims. Camogie is probably the one I fear most as she won easily on debut and looks to have plenty of ability. Hard to guess how good she could be but definitely a danger.
