Chelmsford 2.30 Maria Rosa (4/5)
War Front filly who made a promising start when beaten just a neck by Fooraat at Newcastle on debut in October; big effort considering how much went wrong; cheekpieces on now and should reverse the form getting 7lb.
With further improvement on the cards MARIA ROSA is a confident bet to reverse that form with Fooraat. She was short of room and slowly away out the gates but made good headway to take it up with a furlong to run. She was only headed late and missed out by just a neck at the line. The winner Fooraat was much more professional and knew her job. In receipt of 7lb from that filly now and with that run under her belt the selection is a confident selection to reverse the placings.

Exciting colt by Uncle Mo; ran a cracker on debut going down just half a length to the promising Poetic Flare over 5f here in March; should know more now and taken to put that experience to good use in this field and go one better.
That debut run from LIPIZZANER was full of promise and with the pair clear it should be form that works out well going forward. He is likely to know a lot more now and can put that crucial experience to good use against these newcomers. I expect Seamie Heffernan to bounce him out and try and make all. Lucky Vega is perhaps the most intriguing newcomer given her breeding and the yard can certainly ready one. It will be disappointing if the selection doesn’t prove too strong close home though.
