The 5/2 on offer about MR FLOOD is very appealing given his strike rate. He certainly knows how to win and back down in trip he can blitz these rivals. He has a likeable way of skipping across the ground and should have too much speed from the gate. Chimichuri Run was only beaten a neck last time so has solid credentials too. Probably the main danger. Of the rest True To Life and Mighty High are also entitled to be thereabouts. The latter beat the selection last time but that was over further and she only got on top late.

Vaal 2.05 Our Man In Havana (11/4)
Improving colt who landed back-to-back wins in the winter and held his form well since finishing fourth in February before going one place better in March; given time since and could have more to offer so a big player here; watch the market.
While this is competitive it also looks good opportunity for OUR MAN IN HAVANA to get back to winning ways. He is a useful colt who should still have more to offer for connections. That latest third was a good effort as Christopher Robin and Nebraas are useful types and he had Master Supreme, the favourite, in behind him in fourth. This doesn’t look any tougher so he should be going close. Nimcha has won his last two so has to be feared. At a bigger price Top Shot appeals in terms of running a place.
