Smart filly by Golden Horn; improved a chunk from her juvenile form to make a winning start this season in a good race at Goodwood on first try over 1m2f; steps up a further 2f in trip today but should prove ideal and can keep progressing.
A 6lb penalty doesn’t look enough to stop TULIP FIELDS going in again for Mark Johnston. This likeable filly dug in bravely to fend off Grand Bazaar at Goodwood and the further step up in trip should play to her strengths. She is turned out quickly under a penalty but is expected to have too much for this field. The only danger I guess is if this comes too soon but the yard certainly know what they’re doing so you’d trust they are happy to run her again. Another win looks imminent! Tribal Craft looks the main danger on her return.

Lingfield 6.35 Ligera (3/1)
Showcasing filly who didn’t have the clearest of runs through on debut when finishing sixth, not given a hard time; sure to improve for that and is a big player here; looks good value against the favourite.
There was a lot of promise to take from LIGERA‘s debut effort and if she’s improved she will go close here I think. Byzantia is obviously respected for John Gosden and she can build on her debut fifth but I think the selection should be favourite as arguably ran in a stronger race. It’s definitely between the pair although Winter Halo did cost €260,000 and will be expected to do better at some point. She finished a place behind the selection in that Newmarket maiden.

The Notebook Double consists of both tracker runners. Remember these are profitable to follow as singles so it’s always worth combining them as a double as well to maximise profit.
