Promising chestnut filly by Soft Falling Rain; made a very encouraging start finishing second over 6f here earlier this month; sure to improve and the step up to 7f can also help so looks a good bet to open her account.
Expecting FORRIES ON FRIDAY to make the breakthrough here. She looked pretty useful beaten just a length on debut and with progress on the cards against a weak field she should have too much. All The Stars continues to find one too good having finished second on her last three starts but she is running to a decent level so should be thereabouts again. If the fav beats her then she probably wins. Hard to recommend much else but Flying Squaw might be another one to take a step forward.

Fairview 1.30 Chakri (2/1)
Held her form well since winning over a mile here in October last year; went down just half a length over C&D in February and again only beaten narrowly over a mile on final start; sure to go close if fit and ready to go on return.
This looks a good opportunity for CHAKRI to get back to winning ways. She is a useful type who has some solid form in the book and this lacks strength in depth. Captain’s Princess won well here last time so is the one to beat but I think the selection will be stronger over this trip so gets the vote. Definitely between the pair though! Hard to point out what else will get involved but perhaps Coyote Creek is overpriced as he knows how to win and should step forward from that last run.
