Saturday’s UK & Irish Notebooks
Both trackers landed on Friday so we head into the weekend with confidence high! Both selections run at Newcastle today. The Notebook Double pays 8/1!
Notebook
REMEMBER THE NOTEBOOK IS PROFITALE TO FOLLOW!
Newcastle 1.50 Mubakker (5/2)
Progressive colt who created a big impression storming clear to win over C&D back from a 242 day absence; steps up in grade now but improving all the time so foolish to rule him out going in again; worth keeping on side.
I think the market has it spot on here and the race surely revolves around the improving MUBAKKER for Sir Michael Stoute? He ran out an impressive winner over C&D on return, staying on strongly to see off a competitive field. He faced tougher opposition here but I don’t want to oppose. He can improve again and will be finishing strongly. Major Jumbo is probably the danger as he chased home Far Above in the Palace House Stakes at Newmarket last time and can step forward from that.

THE SECOND NOTEBOOK ALSO RUNS AT NEWCASTLE ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON!
Newcastle 3.00 Aloe Vera (7/4)
Promising filly who won both starts as a 3yo; won really well on final start at Goodwood and could be lots more to come now; not seen for 401 days but she remains unexposed and should prove too good for these if picking up where she left off.
Sticking with the unbeaten ALOE VERA for Ralph Beckett. She has only met the racetrack twice but has impressed on both starts and ran out an impressive winner at Goodwood last time. She obviously hasn’t been the easiest to train given the absence but if ability remains and she is fit enough she will be hard to beat. Virgin Snow is feared most even more so with the support for her in the market. She is on the upgrade so is most likely to put up some resistance.
Tracker Double
The Notebook Double consists of both tracker runners. Remember these are profitable to follow as singles so it’s always worth combining them as a double as well to maximise profit.
