Improving filly who returned from a 101 day break to trounce the opposition over a mile here last time; more to come and this looks a good bit of placement to follow up; clearly the one to beat.
We head to Kenilworth for Saturday’s best bet in South Africa and the improving SING OUT LOUD is taken to follow up for Brett Crawford. She picked up strongly up the inside and was always getting there. She did all her best work late so this extra furlong looks ideal. More to come and hard to oppose! Hard to pinpoint a danger in behind and looks hugely competitive. Bold Diva finished third behind the selection so may be a bit of value at a big price to hit the frame.

Turffontein 1.45 Mr Flood (5/4)
Smart type who has won six of his last seven; extremely hard to oppose and looked as good as ever last time winning by over two lengths at the line; expected to justify favouritism again.
I can’t see past MR FLOOD here. He has been really impressive in recent starts and justified good support again to win at Vaal on return. His record at this track speaks for itself and I can’t see how anybody is taking him on. Russet Air is a useful type who will probably give him most to think about. It’s a good race but however you break it down it’s hard to pick holes in the favourite. 5/4 looks about right! Chimichuri Run is another to consider in terms of hitting the frame.
