Good looking chestnut by Australia; really caught the eye on debut flashing home for fifth, nearest finish; only beaten 3 lengths and sure to improve; up in trip which should suit and can get right in the mix.
Hugo Palmer’s SHIELA should know a lot more now following a promising debut and being by Australia she will relish this step up in trip. I was quite surprised to see 9/2 on offer as I’d make her more a 3/1, 11/4 chance in this field. Semser was obviously an eye-catcher on debut too and heads the market. Definitely value in taking him on though! New Approach colt State Crown is also one to note especially up to this sort of trip. It looks a good race that should throw up plenty of winners going forward.

Promising type who still looked a little rough round the edges when third at Windsor on return; learning all the time so improvement likely and the step up in trip can help him too; progressive profile and one to keep on side.
We head to Leicester on Tuesday night for our second tracker horse of the day and PLEASURE GARDEN should run a big race for Sir Mark Prescott. He still looked a big baby at Windsor last week and if that run has brought him on again coupled with the extra yardage on offer tonight I think that will see him off the mark. He is open to plenty of improvement and looks one to keep on side rather than try and oppose. Opine sports the first-time cheekpieces and comes into the reckoning. Pearl Beach also a danger.
