Oratorio filly who caught the eye a few times last season; improved to finish second on return from 141 days off the track over 7f here last month and can step forward again stepping back up to a mile; big chance.
This looks a great opportunity for THE VOW to make the breakthrough. She caught the eye a few times last season, most notably when going down just a length to White Lace over track and trip. Ran a solid race again in a competitive Maiden Plate on final start and no surprise to see her improve to chase home Mountain Ridge last month. More to come and she should have every chance of finally getting off the mark. She had Cape To Rio (second fav in the betting) and Reef Knot trailing last time and should confirm that form.

Kenilworth 1.25 Heaven’s Embrace (11/4)
Smart type who finished powerfully to run down Rewrite The Stars at Durbanville on penultimate start; got caught way too far back last time and couldn’t get a run finishing virtually on the bridle; obvious chance here if getting the gaps.
Greg Cheyne gets a chance to make amends on HEAVEN’S EMBRACE at Kenilworth this afternoon. He never really gave her a chance last time getting caught miles back before trying to come up the rail. She had to be reigned back and never saw daylight. Virtually hit the line on the bridle so it’s a run that can be forgiven. If she gets the gaps here I think she’ll be hard to hold out. Duchess Of Bourbon is probably the main danger. She hasn’t been seen for 186 days but goes well fresh and has the form to get involved.
